Nose
Tropical fruits — ripe mango and banana — open alongside a distinctly grassy agricole character. Vanilla and dried fruit from the oak aging follow, with a streak of coffee and a faint tobacco leaf note developing over time.
Palate
Medium to full bodied, with caramel and toffee providing a sweet base that is immediately checked by earthy, vegetal agricole funk. The tropical fruit from the nose carries through, joined by dried fruit and a hint of dark chocolate. Oak provides structure without heaviness.
Finish
Long and complex, with lingering coffee, vanilla, and a final note of citrus peel. The agricole grassiness persists, keeping the finish from becoming overly sweet.
