120 proof14 YearSt. Philip, Barbados
Richard Seale continues to define what serious Barbadian rum can be. This 14-year blend of pot and column still distillates shows the depth and nuance that earned Foursquare its reputation. At cask strength, it's intense but never harsh — a rum that commands your full attention and gives back generously.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Rich and layered — toasted oak and toffee lead into dark chocolate and dried stone fruit. Underneath, there's a subtle coffee note and warm vanilla that anchor the higher-toned citrus and tropical fruit accents. The proof is well-integrated despite its strength.

Palate

Dense and chewy, with chocolate and molasses up front, then dried fruit, leather, and a warming spice that builds steadily. Oak is assertive but never tannic. A flash of orange peel brightness cuts through the richness at mid-palate.

Finish

Exceptionally long, with toffee, tobacco, and a persistent chocolate and oak interplay that evolves over several minutes.
