Clairin Communal Casimir Ansyen 30 Mois
Clairin · Distillerie Faubert Casimir
Faubert Casimir's clairin stands apart from conventional rum in the same way natural wine diverges from industrial bottlings — it is terroir-driven, wild-yeast fermented, and deeply connected to its place. Thirty months in oak tames the spirit just enough to reveal hidden layers without dulling its essential wildness. This is rum for the curious.
Nose
Wild tropical fruit — overripe banana and mango — layered with grassy cane juice and a distinct funk. There is a roasted quality underneath, almost like toasted coconut, with a mineral backbone that keeps it honest.
Palate
Vibrant and untamed. The agricole grassiness meets caramel and toffee from the oak aging, while tropical fruits carry through from the nose. A peppery spice and light leather note emerge mid-palate, adding complexity to the exuberant fruit character.
Finish
Medium-long, with lingering banana, toffee, and a dry agricultural earthiness. The funk stays present but never overwhelms.

Grilled jerk chicken with mango salsa
In the remote village of Barradères on Haiti's southern peninsula, Faubert Casimir distills clairin from hand-harvested sugarcane using methods essentially unchanged for generations — wild yeast fermentation and a small copper pot still heated over an open fire.

Scapegrace Gold New Zealand Dry Gin
Scapegrace
Scapegrace Gold takes the solid bones of the Classic expression and adds just enough exotic botanical complexity to merit the upgrade. Ancnoc 18 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
AnCnoc
Knockdhu remains one of the Highlands' best-kept secrets, and this 18-year expression shows why patience at a small distillery pays dividends. It is refined without being polite — there is genuine complexity here, earned through unhurried maturation. A Highland malt that deserves a wider audience.

Pueblo Viejo Añejo Tequila
Pueblo Viejo
Pueblo Viejo Añejo is the kind of bottle that quietly embarrasses tequilas three times its price. San Matías has been distilling since 1886, and that institutional knowledge shows in the balance here. If you want an everyday añejo that respects the agave without emptying your wallet, this is it.

Rhum Barbancourt 8 Year Old Reserve Spéciale
Barbancourt
Barbancourt 8 Year is one of the great bargains in aged spirits. Made from fresh sugarcane juice in the Haitian tradition and aged in Limousin oak, it occupies a unique space between agricole and traditional column-distilled rum. It's unpretentious, deeply flavorful, and a reminder that provenance outweighs price.

Rhum Clément Cuvée Homère Rhum Agricole Vieux
Rhum Clément
Cuvée Homère is Clément's tribute to founder Homère Clément, and it showcases what extended aging does to quality rhum agricole. The cane character remains at the foundation, but the oak and oxidative aging add layers that rival fine cognac in complexity. This is a sipping rum that demands — and rewards — your full attention.

Hampden Estate Aged 5 Years Single Jamaican Rum
Hampden Estate
The 5-Year expression sits in Hampden's sweet spot — enough age to integrate the distillery's famously high ester count, but young enough to preserve the raw tropical intensity. This is rum for people who want flavor with conviction. It rewards attention and handles mixing with authority.
