Fuenteseca Reserva Extra Añejo 6 Year
Fuenteseca · Tequilera Corralejo
Six years in barrel is a bold proposition for tequila, and Fuenteseca navigates it masterfully. The oak integration here is seamless rather than aggressive, and the agave character persists with remarkable clarity. This is contemplative sipping tequila for those who appreciate the intersection of agave and time.
Nose
Rich cooked agave is immediately present, layered with butterscotch, vanilla, and a distinct roasted almond character. Underneath, there's dark chocolate and a subtle leathery earthiness that signals serious barrel time.
Palate
Thick and viscous on entry. Caramel and toasted oak dominate the front palate, giving way to baking spice, cinnamon, and dried tropical fruit. The agave remains a steady undercurrent, never fully buried by the wood influence.
Finish
Exceptionally long. Tobacco and leather linger alongside residual sweetness, with a final flourish of dark chocolate and gentle smoke.

Food Pairing
The tequila's chocolate, tobacco, and warm spice notes echo the complex layers of mole negro, while its caramel sweetness balances the richness of the braised meat.
Made under the direction of Enrique Fonseca, one of Mexico's most respected agave cultivators and tequila makers, this extra añejo was distilled from estate-grown highland agave and aged six years in American oak barrels at high altitude in the town of Atotonilco El Alto.

Hernö

A gin for gin lovers.

Talisker 30 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Talisker
This is Talisker at its most contemplative. Thirty years on Skye has softened the distillery's volcanic character into something almost meditative, but the maritime soul remains. It's the cinder and the dew made literal — smoke meeting sea mist across decades of patient aging.

Midleton Dair Ghaelach Bluebell Forest Tree No. 6
Midleton
The Dair Ghaelach series represents Midleton's most ambitious exploration of terroir in Irish whiskey. The Bluebell Forest edition demonstrates how native Irish oak — sessile oak harvested from a single estate — can completely reshape a mature pot still whiskey. This is Irish whiskey pushing its own boundaries.

Foursquare Patrimony Exceptional Cask Selection
Foursquare
Richard Seale's Patrimony is one of Foursquare's most ambitious releases. Fourteen years of aging at cask strength in Barbados — where angel's share is ruthless — concentrates everything into a dense, rewarding experience. It's a rum that demands attention and rewards patience, standing comfortably alongside the finest aged spirits in the world.

Fuenteseca Cosecha 2016 Blanco
Fuenteseca
A vintage-dated blanco that captures a single moment in the agave's life — proof that unaged tequila can carry as much complexity and contradiction as any extra añejo.

Chinaco Blanco
Chinaco
A living piece of tequila history — the first 100% agave brand imported to the US, still made with integrity by the González family. Chinaco Blanco is idiosyncratic, terroir-driven, and utterly worth keeping on the shelf.
