Envínate Benje Blanco Tenerife DO 2023
Envínate
Envínate is a collective of four young winemakers obsessed with forgotten terroirs of Spain, and their Tenerife project may be the most thrilling. Benje Blanco channels the volcanic soils of the island's north slope — pre-phylloxera Listán Blanco vines rooted in black lava ash at altitude. The result is unlike any other white wine on your shelf.
Nose
Lemon zest and crushed basalt lead, with green apple and a saline, almost oceanic quality. Faint notes of white flowers and fresh herbs emerge with airing.
Palate
Taut and mineral-driven with electric acidity. Citrus pith and green apple are framed by a pronounced volcanic mineral character — chalky, almost smoky — that gives the wine a texture more associated with fine Chablis. The mid-palate offers subtle honeyed weight without sacrificing tension.
Finish
Clean and persistent, with lingering lemon, mineral tang, and a faintly herbal exhale.

Food Pairing
The Canarian classic of wrinkled salt-crusted potatoes and charred octopus echoes the wine's saline minerality and volcanic terroir. Serve with mojo verde for herbal contrast.
Made by the Envínate collective from ungrafted, pre-phylloxera Listán Blanco vines growing at 800 meters elevation on the volcanic north slope of Mount Teide in Tenerife, where black lava ash and Atlantic winds shape a wine of startling mineral intensity.

Movia Lunar Ribolla 2022
Movia
A masterclass in controlled wildness: ancient technique yielding a wine that is simultaneously primal and polished — the definition of opposites in harmony.

Domaine Trimbach Riesling Cuvée Frédéric Émile 2022
Trimbach
Cuvée Frédéric Émile is Trimbach's flagship Riesling, sourced from the Geisberg and Osterberg Grands Crus. The 2022 shows youthful intensity and structural precision — this is Alsatian Riesling at its most intellectual, built for aging but already compelling in its taut, mineral-laden youth.

Domaine Weinbach Riesling Cuvée Colette 2023
Domaine Weinbach
Named for Colette Faller, who shaped Weinbach into one of Alsace's greatest estates, this cuvée embodies the family's philosophy of minimal intervention and maximum terroir expression. The 2023 vintage delivered ideal ripeness with retained acidity, creating a Riesling of rare balance. It's a wine that demands attention and repays it generously.

Domaine Didier Dagueneau Buisson Renard Pouilly-Fumé 2023
Domaine Didier Dagueneau
Dagueneau's Buisson Renard delivers Sauvignon Blanc at its most uncompromising. The silex soils of this vineyard produce a wine of flinty intensity that few Loire producers can match. This is not crowd-pleasing Sauvignon — it's Sauvignon that demands attention and rewards it with layers of complexity.
