Glenfarclas 105 is one of the longest-running cask-strength single malts on the market — the distillery released it in 1968. The Grant family have never chill-filtered, colored, or cut it with water.
Nose
Rich Oloroso sherry, Christmas cake, and dark dried fruit. Walnuts, orange marmalade, and a whisper of leather follow.
Palate
Full, oily, and generous. Raisin, fig, and sticky toffee pudding lead. Brown sugar, a flash of clove, and mocha arrive mid-palate.
Finish
Long and layered. Dried fruit, dark chocolate, and soft oak persist for minutes.
