Dark cherry and blackcurrant dominate the nose, with violet florals, a dusting of cocoa, and a hint of fresh mint. There is a chalky, mineral undercurrent that speaks to the altitude.
Palate
Medium to full-bodied, with ripe berry fruit and cedar tannins that frame the palate cleanly. A mid-palate note of toasted oak appears alongside vanilla, balanced by bright acidity that keeps the wine from feeling ponderous.
