Wolfrest Gin

Wolfrest · Roner Distillery

92 proofNASSouth Tyrol, Italy
From the Italian Alps, Wolfrest is a gin that knows what it is: juniper-led, mountain-clean, and unapologetically classic. The alpine botanicals bring a crispness that feels almost mineral. It performs beautifully in a Martini but has enough personality to drink on ice with just a twist.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Pine-forward juniper immediately announces itself, balanced by fresh lemon zest and a dusting of coriander seed. Deeper sniffs reveal violet and a subtle earthy angelica root.

Palate

Clean and structured, with juniper driving through the center while citrus and floral elements broaden the midpalate. Ginger warmth and a peppery bite create texture, and a whisper of liquorice sweetens the back end.

Finish

Medium-length, drying on juniper and angelica with a final flicker of violet.

The Story

Distilled at the Roner family's facility in Termeno, South Tyrol — one of Italy's oldest distilleries, operating since 1946 — Wolfrest sources wild juniper and alpine botanicals from the surrounding Dolomite foothills.
